Who’s got the marshmallows?

On the Seattle ferry to Bainbridge Island (a 30-minute ride), I looked down from the passenger viewing platform to the car deck below and spotted these two gentlemen.  They had broken out the camp chairs from their white van (immediately behind them), and were getting a good view of the water from the back of the ferry deck.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen folks “set up camp” on the ferry deck like this.  Most people lock their cars and go up to the passenger deck, get a hot dog or some chowder, or just watch the water – from the passenger cabin.  Not these guys – they were making the most of it!
