It was “Bring Your Pet to Work Today” at Swanson and Green, the Eastside’s most trendy creative agency.
Alana brought her golden retriever, “Molly.”
Genevieve brought her ferret, “Mr. Marples.”
The rest of us had dogs, cats, the odd guinea pig and a pet snake. George brought his red-ear slider turtle, “Ghengis Khan.”
Toward the end of the day, someone noticed a tiny black kitten was found in the kitchen. A company-wide email went out, but the kitten seemed to have appeared out of nowhere.
Creatively, we decided to adopt her. She became to subject for a ‘name-this-kitten” contest online. Several ad campaigns considered the black kitten as a starting point.
We named her “Inspiration.”
