It took a long time to get organized. The parade was Saturday, and we didn’t know what to make for a float.
There were lots of ideas. Finally Jerome suggested a big smiley face button.
It’ll surprise people, he said. And who doesn’t want to be cheered up?
The marketing team put together a giant smiley face out of yellow foam leftover from the Post-It Note promo last Fall. And it was cheery, after they got finished painting on the features.
We had to practice carrying it in the parking lot – no one wanted to be embarrassed by poor parade-carrying skills in front of all those high school marching bands and junior miss beauty contest winners.
Who knew? We took first place for “teamwork and ingenuity.”
Have a nice day!
